Wingham Fish-In Catch Reports

The fishing was probably down because I was there I haven't been for the last 3 yrs!

 

I was fishing the Bristol Avon with Trefor West and I caught an eel, in one swift movement he had it on it's back, hook out, and back in the river as I was still wondering how I was going to get hold of it

 

I'd never seen anything like it, at least I know how to do it next time I catch one, although I don't think I will manage it quite so easily as Trefor did

 

Some of my friends are envious of me hearing a nightingale but can't understand why I was not impressed with hours of it's song above my bivvy in the early hours
