vagabond i have got one unused in my loft ,if you want it and we can arrange delivery you can have it .not sure what it would cost to send to the states .i live in watford area if it,s any use .cheers big al

Ferret, thats an illustration of the very one we are ordering from Argos. Quicker to take it than ship it !

 

Thanks very much Big Al for the offer, much appreciated, but we have already ordered one.

 

Thanks everyone that tried to help. I'm still mystified as to why the US of A doesn't have at least one such screen/guard of the type Ferret illustrated. As far as I am concerned, little kids and fires should be kept way apart.
