Guess The Weight

Dear Gerry,

Very impressed with Charlie's website. And in total fairness Charlie’s prices seem very reasonable.

I quite fancy a two day trip myself with a stay over at a local B&B (preferably a pub) I’ll have chatter with some mates to see who wants to go.

There's something magical about those broads pike and I've always wanted to cast a line there.

I'm not strictly a pike man but have caught a fair few big un's in my time. I'm also proficient in handling them so I won't be jumping over board if a monster comes along! I do however go a shade of dull green when leaving the harbour wall on sea fishing trips. Do I need to dose up on "sea legs" for the broads?

Regards,

Lee.

You should be fine re 'sea legs' The boat is a 14 foot Seastrike with a semi flat floor. Sticks on the surface like glue with little sideways rock n' roll and the gear is all first class. With the season almost over, you might have difficulty squeezing in something before mid-June. Besides, mid-week summer piking is more fun, if you're a bit of a boating newbie. Plenty of places to stay around Brundall and the Coldham Hall Tavern's french chef will make sure that you never never go hungry at lunchtime.

Whoops, sorry Lee. Just noticed that you were thinking about next season anyway.
