48 hour week

i do 48 hours in two working days, ok, i dont have to work for the rest of the week, but i should be able to if i want.

i work 7 shifts on and 5 days off and if im strapped or want something i can do a few shifts of ot,wheres the problem in that.

if the shifts arent covered its lost production ,i dont make out and neither do they.

its the freedom of choice they are taking away.

I was listening to an interview on 5 live on this issue and it appears to be a non story blown out of proportion by the media (no surely not!). The UK when it comes to a final vote on this matter can block it with a blocking minority. Which by all accounts they already have the votes in place to block it. I am still amazed by how much mileage euro scare stories still get these days.

or at least i would if there were 48 hours in one day that would give me a 120 hour fishing day.
