Went fishing this morning with a mate and we had a couple of.....erm....anyone got a link to fish we might catch round here?

 

We started off catching little things, but then a switch to feeder tactics brought us a decent fish apiece. Quite confident about tomorrow morning, now we know what we're doing

The spanish name is dorada elton, not to be confused with dorado, a different fish entirely.

Known in english as gilthead bream.Good to eat if you are in an apt,and have cooking facilities.

You lucky sod being in Puerto Pollensa! I've been there a fair few times, even for my honeymoon! I'll leave the rod jokes alone!!

 

Had great fun catching mullet and bream - I tended to fish further up pine walk near the Ila Dor hotel and all the mullet we caught on a very basic bubble float set up fishing bread - let me know how you get on

its hot as hell here at the moment. For the last 10 days its been nudging 40c in the shade. humidity was at 70% this morning too.
