MOT problems

The mot system is virtually state run now. It is linked directly to the gov's computer system. My garage that i trust used to do many mot's. Now linked they can only do about twelve to fifteen as they are now timed and cannot rush any through. As they can only do so many a day, our garage has spent many thousands upgrading the gear so it is carried out by one guy instead of a boy giving them a hand. The result is passed direct to the government computer before you get your certificate.Don't know how to stop the scammers though as they will always try to beat whatever system is in place.
trouble is the computer only logs measurable things (emmissions and brakes etc) everything else is an oppinion ;)
On Monday I took my car in for its MOT, apart from needing two new tyres it passed with flying colours (it's a Toyota, what do you expect? ). However, when I picked up the car (with 2 extra miles added to the clock), I saw that 1/4 tank of petrol had gone missing! I'm not going to name the dealership in question since the police have been informed, but this is the third time something has happened to my car when it has been to this particular place for an MOT....Three years ago (though some weeks after it had been in) I found that one of the windscreen wiper arms had been replaced with a faulty item - it was of a different design. Then last year one of the drop-links developed a fault whilst there, it was fine when I took the car in, knackered when I collected it. Now there's the question of the missing petrol.I will not be letting this rest, I will get compensated for the petrol that has gone missing, and I will not be using that place again that is for sure  At least they didn't find the roll-ups I have in one of the cubby-holes
you have a whole quarter tank of fuel

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong
