Pegley Davies,now there's a name :D ,1970's if i recall correctly.They were a 'value for money' company,producing all sorts of gear.

Would the rod be cane or glass?,suspect glass in which case in all probability has a lowish value.However i could well be wrong and someone else may be able to enlighten you further.
