it may all disapear again ,the government release these " hot potato "`s when they have darker more serious things to hide , like the suspected f & m case etc was probably hiding yet another gaffe by byers ,or mandleson

Fox Hunting will, thankfully go. Once that is out of the way then I predict membership of the CA will soar! So many anglers & shooters abhor fox hunting that they are waiting for it to be banned before nailing their colours to the mast. Atleast that is what I am hoping will happen. Trouble is that Reality & Hope don't always ride on the same horse!

HIYA ALL,

has anyone thought that the fox hounds are going to have to be destroyed when and if fox hunting is banned(which I think it probably will be). This is one breed of dog that most certainly doe`s NOT make a pet or any other type of animal. It was bread for the sole purpose of hunting fox`es and is uterly usless for any thing else.

Could/would the hunting fraternity be satisfied with a drag hunt i.e. a man draging something that has the sent of a fox, around for however far for the hunt and the hounds to follow? I thnk not,so what is going to happen to the dog`s?

for that matter what is going to happen to the horses, the staff that look after them, and all the rest of it?

I most certainly don`t know!

I don`t think that the "there`s too much money involved" argument is going to be valid, remember that,HRH the prince of Wales is or was a member of the Hunting fraternity, and if he`s not got enough influence to avert a ban what chance has any one. It baffles me.

I have the same as every else got my own views on this subject that i don`t want to give out as it could be mistaken in either way! I would sooner be seen to be nuetral on the hunting with dog`s issue,if any of that makes sense to you.

There is a lot of nonsense talked by the hunt supporters regarding the number of dogs that would have to be destroyed. It probably equates to about the same amount of unwanted animals that the RSPCA routinely destroy every week, and is infinitesimal compared to the number of animals put down in the F&M outbreak. Once they have been put down, they will no longer have to keep shooting comparitively young animals, just because they feel they have reached the end of their useful lives.

Good riddance to Fox hunting and to Hare coarsing too!

Why do they hunt Hares anyway???

Are Hares some sort of pest?

Do they eat all the farmers Carrots??

Shooting and Angling will survive. And rightly so.

Oh wake up! What do you think gives us the moral high ground here? There are those who say that by putting our catch back in order to torture it again we are the most cruel branch of country sports. I cannot believe the hypocrisy on here, and the extent of the ostrich syndrome! Sometimes I despair.
