Hi CF,

Tried again saturday eve, gave up after an hour, crabs on the bottom again, despite the blue unction, & too much weed in the mid water.

Total weekends catch - 10 prawns and a mussel.

Bother, saying that reminded me that, after soaking for 2 days in fresh water & then cooking the mussel this afternoon, that it would be cool enough now to freeze with the prawns for a later seafood medley.

It had GONE. Just an empty shell in the saucepan.

Pretty simple.....

Where are the macks and?????

How were they caught?????

When will there be more???

Cardigan Bay,

Feathers,

Tomorrow!

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

Blimey ,Chub Frenzy you are like a stuck record with this.

Like I have said before, if you after Mackerel, in Kent then get yourself down to the Admiralty Pier in Dover. Arm yourself with a set of feathers/sabikis or Hokais and you will catch Mackerel until your hearts content.

The pier will be packed and more like a rugby scrum but you will catch Mackerel, I promise.

Had about 300 between four of us yesterday off the "hats and barrels" reef off Milford Haven (also in Wales). All caught on feathers/tinsel flies in less than half an hour.
