poor sods get injured earning the kings shilling and they force them to fish on some old jacket ,buggers

Hmmm, when I was stationed at Sennybridge we were never given casting lessons to fish the Usk. However, I did manage to get a few trout out of the river by dapping so even if I couldn't cast it really wouldn't have mattered. When the menu was so often sheep killed during maneuvers a bit of fresh trout made a pleasant change!
