Gimmingham or Roughton?

Cameraman

Recommended Posts

I'm on holiday in rainy Norfolk staying near Thorpe Market and fancied a day at either Gimmingham or Roughton, any body any tips on which would be better and which baits are working. I've two rods with me one match and one carp. Just looking for an easy day.

If all else fails, follow the intructions.

I used to live in Cromer, but Gimmingham and Roughton lakes didn't exist then !

If starting from Thorpe Market, I would have been making for the River Bure at Ingworth or Aylsham - or further afield , Blicking Lake.

Good luck anyway - doesn't seem as if any of our posters are currently fishing North Norfolk

Thanks, I hope I've got the river sorted as I've booked a boat Fri/Sat from Wroxham so can go more or less where I want.

I've fished both Roughton and Gimmingham before but over 10 years ago when my son was a young lad  I had a walk round both t'other day but no one was very talkative, so I figured I might get better info on here :D

If all else fails, follow the intructions.
