Fishing Car and Total Set Up

Hello,

I really want to get into my sea fishing this winter... I live in South London but have family in Ramsgate, Kent. I am thinking of buying a car just for fishing and then stocking it with everything I'll need for weekend adventures up and down the Kent coast in search of cod, late bass and then into spring/summer next year for everything going...

Any tips on what I'll need? I think I'll definitely need a car to get to the right spots after dark and set up a mobile fishing command unit!.....

Thanks,

Gareth

Land Rover 110 with mud tyres and a tent that clips on the back....or a roof tent.

If you want to go posh then a Disco will do much the same.

Surprised you had to ask really!

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

Cheers Worms!

I love your quote about 'caught wild fish'.... On thw car front, you've switched me onto my long forgotten dream of a RangeRover or a Discovery- Have to see how posh I want to go- maybe I'm not big and rich enough yet- perhaps a 53 plate Focus estate may suffice?!

I keep finding myself looking at Range Rovers and Land Rovers recently. I do less than 3000 miles per year and the big engine models really appeal.
