Can anyone help this guy?

CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME?

I have two very old rods and what looks like an old reel. Can you tell me if they are worth anything? I don't intend to use them anymore although I have in the past.

Martin-James 11ft round cane rod, brass fittings etc.dark wood handle, and is in good condition.

The second rod doesn't seem to be named but has a sticker on it saying " fine quality fishing rod No.14 Foreign ". It is approx. 11ft and is split cane with a cork handle. It has the screw

type reel fittings that you see on spinning reels etc. and also has brass fittings etc.and is in good condition. A young family is forcing me to sell some kit, so I must reluctantly get rid of it (but don't want to get ripped

off)

I am not going to be popular for saying this but the second rod is worth whatever the vendor can get someone to pay for it and I doubt that it will be much old unamed cane and other wood rods are bought in bundles for a couple of quid to decorate pubs with.

The Martin James may fetch a little more depending on condition but again don't hold you breath try putting it up in the free ads section of AT and asking for offers
