Anyone Got A Twitter Account?

I've never really go into Twitter, but need to start understanding how it works.

 

I want to run a quick competition to give away a prize, the idea being to pick a name from whoever posts a certain Tweet. I think I've set it up to spot these things, but could really do with one person posting this:

Hadn't forgotten about it, but I've just installed Tweetdeck and want to see if I can get my head around the whole Twitter concept. I've set up a column for 'Mentions' and, if it works, want to run a few competitions in various places.

 

My 7-year old is at Brownies. I might get her to explain it to me when she gets in
