Any advice on Raker Lakes near York?

Got a match on Saturday....thought id see if anyone has fished there and what i need to be doing

Good question, and i honestly dont know...i know i should....i would imagine its teh match lake if there is such a thing.

 

The reason i dont know is that i very rarely see the others in my club because i live so far from their home base.

it will be the horse shoe then i would have thought if so you need to get to the far side to win they all use floating poles of 20m

How would a keen specimen man like you have all the match info as well aero...not sneaking around the match circuit now are we?????

 

Well anyway, I'll make a note not to fish there, I can't handle a 13m pole 20m are just getting silly
