People who flyfish with 3oz leads and alarm afilies

As soon as carp spawn they produce the milt and eggs ready for the next year. The 1000 degree days is right as i have spawnned carp my self using it. But also the day lengh plays a big part. This could be why the ones in kent have spawned early

Buy a cheap £20 padeling pool from argos. Fil it up with pond water and then put your fish in it while you are doing the work. Also I would try to fill around half of the new pond with the old water if possible.

about 80% of carp in all cases of SVC die. Both cases will almost be definatly the stocking of foriegn illegal fish.

Its now been confirmed by CEFAS and will be in the weeklys next week, woodland veiw fishing and fish farm complex near birmingham has been confirmed with SVC. With cudmore haveing it last year when will these place learn to stop illigaly importing fish. People dont take the treat of SVC seriously anoth.

A fishery must hold a valid section 28 to have zander stocked in its water the same as catfish and grass carp. hardly any fisherys do hold them. It is time that CEFAS and the EA start prosecuteing sutch fisheries. They do cause envronmetal damage that is why you need a section 28. A section 28 would only be given to a fishery if there is no chance of these animals escaping into a natural habitat

On a trip to a local still water (been a young angler) I set up in a peg close to an older man and his wife. I asked if they had caught owt with a reply of no. I set up and started fishing, after 10-12 carp up to 8lb all i recived was witty putdowns and snardy comments from the man. It made me feel awful. Then to cap it all off his wife caught a small carp.

I recently took a netting trip to the EA fish farm in calverton, were they breed and grow babel and surely they know the most out of all of us!

i fish the air down stream from bradford. they throw alot worsethings than ashes in the river in bradford any way but i think we should start a pertishion to stop this.
