where is abu

does anyone know the url for abu in the uk ,all i can find is poxy U.S links ,the link to their european site is invalid ,the opening page of their american site is the most annoying i`ve come across ,the dealer search has no euro links (strange for reels that origanate from sweden) i am trying to get parts for my reel but cant get them over here :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

You can also try http://www.reelvalue.co.uk He gets the parts from ABU as well, but at least he has the agro of dealing with the geniuses in the parts department! If you can get the part number, either from the schematic that came with the reel or from one of the ones on the ABU USA site you will have a better chance of getting the right bit first time, or maybe second...

The European site is at http://www.abugarcia.se/ but it says that it is temporarily closed and redirects back to the US site.

Sorry Chesters. I've since tried them, no go. They are as published by ABU! The phone number works, or it did on Monday.

 

I think you are right, the 508 was not a US model. Persevere with the phone number / postal address that I gave you. They do work, for sure!
