Abu 507 help please

Hi Guys and Dolls I would like some help please in finding some spares for my old ageing Abu 507.

 

Its getting on for over twenty five years and I love this real caught many good fish on it, the parts that I am after are the winding cup as the spring loading is not working correctly.

 

Any old parts would be welcome I have had 3 suppliers which now have no parts.

I am addicted to abu close faces and "tightline services" have always been able to put them right they even serviced my 406 that was my 16th birthay present.

 

Sorry I havent got a link handy but if you google it they should be able to help. If you are struggling pm me and I will sort it for you but it may take a few weeks as I am very busy.

Hi all I am still tyring to track down spare parts for my ABU 507 , Nigel thinks he can sort out my reel for the short term. so I am still looking for the Winding cup (rooter).

 

Gary at The Mill's tackle company said he might be able to help how ever he is hard to get hold of as he works and repairs part time .

I did put up a new thread last week but it's gone missing .
