I have a 'Prince Regent' here beside me. There is not a picture of this model on there, yes chesters I have found it!

 

Any info on this model anyone????

the standard was the first intrepid released in 1959

the prince regent was released in 1969

Hi chesters, mine has a different badge on to the one above. It has a red label/badge with silver writing above the handle. Does that help in ageing it?

it was onsale from 69 till 1980 ,sales slumped when sealy were the only sellers ( 1970 ) the other wholesalers were left in the lurch ,six models were axed in 1971 due to the action by sealy ,the possibility is the remaining reels were rebadged to improve sales ,when gladding took over several other minor tweaks were made to the range ,so i guess that yours is probably one of many "tweaks" after 1971 ,the one i have is the same as yours with the red badge ,if i come up with more info i`l let you know

i havent any details on it yet err yes i have circa 63 is the nearest date i can get at the moment THANKS NUGG it was out of production by 1967
