Gardner Tackle 'Bug' Indicators

Im sure they're very good, but i wouldnt call them a budget bobbin. A £1.99 bobbin is budget, not £8.99, especially when you can make your own for free :)

As famous fisherman John Gierach once said "I used to like fishing because I thought it had some larger significance. Now I like fishing because it's the one thing I can think of that probably doesn't."

I agree, and have amended the subtitle accordingly. Cheers :)

I use these bobbins and quite like them. I prefer the 'micro' size bugs. I like the 'anti rust chain' description, why couldn't they just say 'plastic'? The plastic chain on one of mine broke, where can I buy the spare parts in order to repair? I can't see anything on eBay?

They do seem expensive for what you get, especially if the chain is plastic. The line clip looks quite poor too. I had a good look around for good quality, cheap bobbins a couple of seasons ago and couldn't find anything better than the Solar i-Lites.

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music
