unfished rivers?

Im really strugling 2 find a fishable river ive visted 2 now 2 c if any anglers r fishing but not any..river goyt and river irk??ive been told thers fish in there but cing no anglers kind of puts me off??can any 1 help me find a fishable river in manchester region or not far from there??pleaseeeee i need barble!!

...and a spell checker... Seriously if you type Goyt into the search facility here you'll get 30 odd hits... (nothing for River Irk though)

If Barbel are your intended species then try the Ribble near Salmesbury, any of the pegs around the motorway bridge produce lots of big Barbel.

as you are from sheffield why not have a go at fishing the river rother as i have it on good authority from the ea that this river contains barbel.
