R. Trent - Wychnor/Alrewas area

Recommended Posts

That's my area but can't help with up to date info, a few years ago I think it was Alrewas AC but not sure now.

The canal that joins the trent at Wychnor used to hold plenty of chub, the section as you go over the canal directly off the A38 also used to hold some lovely double figure pike.

Eat right, stay fit, die anyway.

Does the Albert still have the canal? Can't find in my Albert waters manual?

PAAS doesn't have canal in that area - Montgomery and Shropshire Union but no Trent-Mersey.

From Wychnor (not sure of the exact point but I'm pretty certain it is from Wychnor bridge) up towards Burton it is Burton Mutual.
