I have firefox set as my default browser. When I run c cleaner it shows that IE has stored cookies from the sites I visited. Can any one explain why this is happening and if theres a setting I can alter to prevent it?

As far as I can tell IE hasnt been started.

I have the same. Harmless but no way to prevent it that I know of.

Just because you don't use Internet Explorer as your browser does not mean that you do not use Internet Explorer. Many third party applications use the Internet Explorer API in order to render HTML documents. Firefox itself can do this if you install the IE Tab addon.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.
