Going to be tieing some of my own rigs up soon for carp fishing and wondering what line you think i should use for my hooklengths ? And what size hooks for carp ?

Also, when tieing rigs up for other types of fishing should you use the overhand loop i think it's called ? (The knot that hooks to nylon are tied to your loop in the line with)

There are so many vairiables L.U. It depends on what type of water you are fishing, what the lake bottom is like, the size of carp you expecting to catch? Many, many more, so you really have to be specific in your question?

The strength of the quiver tip is really governed by the conditions not the size of feeder/bait/distance cast etc.

Also the matirial the quiver is made from will depend on whever you are expecting "pull round" or "drop back" bites.

If you are fishing for still water bream at Longleat (as I suspect you are?) then a soft fibreglass one of as light a test curve as possible will be the correct choice.

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!
