I would try Rutland Water and Grafham Water for pike, although I haven't fished them I have been told they are good for pike.

Lurking : have you tried Bluebell lakes in Northamptonshire? Its near Tansor close to Peterborough.

They have a Pike Lake called Swan lake and all the other waters hold pike too..Kingfisher lake holds fish to over 40lb+ and is in the top 25 list i believe..

They also hold the pike championships there,worth a look i reckon.

 

I go there occasionally but im into Carp fishing so cannot give the pike low down.

No fly fishing for pike on Rutland or Grafham before 16th June, unless of course you're a Norfolk seatrout fisherman...
