you can make bait out of anything that takes your fancy ,the hard part is persuading the fish to eat it :)

what may work in one lake will be ignored in another ,even the colour may make the difference

I grind down varoius carp and trout pellets into a powder.

Then I add water which has scopex, csl or other smelly liquids mixed with it.

I knead this into a paste.

Then I added scopex, csl or pellet liquid etc a bit at a time to make it softer.

I keep it in the freezer until I use it.

 

I fish it over a bed of the same types of pellets it is made of either on the hook or moulded around hairrigged pellet(s).
