tiger nuts

when you are baiting up with tiger nuts how many nuts do you put in, carp are supposed to get quite full up on these.

The Dynamite baits ones are superb!

 

One pouchful per fish is enough, you can fish them over particles as well - I've had some good results with this!

My Ex used to call me "Tiger nuts" but I think that's a different thing altogether.

No types of nuts are any good for fish.

They get filled up very quickley by nuts and get very little protein or nutrition from them.

Then the fish stop feeding as they are full up and use more energy than they have gained.

 

I would recommend only using nuts as a hook bait (no freebies) and fish over hemp, pellets or other particles.

A good method is a pva bag of pellets socked in tiger slime that wont melt the bag.

A pouchful of freebies wont do much harm, just dont go OTT and fill the lake in with them.

If you are going to get technical they are in fact rhizomes from Cyperus esculentus.
