The reason this has been brought in is because we will not be able to show a benefit book as we are now paid directly in to a bank or post office account.

What about people who do not have an obvious disability, but are still on benefit and unable to work? As I have said on another thread, this system is flawed.

The whole purpose of the Concessionary Rod Licence was to give a reduced rates to those on reduced income through some kind of permanent disability.The Blue Badge scheme does not take into account those with the Blue Badge, but in full time employment.

 

My benefit is also paid directly into my bank, but I still have the paperwork showing my entitlement to benefit. Personally I could not see a problem with the previous system.

yes you can get it strangly though only if you have the blue badge

my mrs gets top rate mobility but refuses to stoop to the same level as the petty puffed up with self importance council employee who decides if she "deserves" one ,if its good enough for the government to get the benifit is should be good enough for a poxy badge ,we had the same trouble last year
