The Canary Isles police are usually pretty tolerant of tourists - but if one of them HAD got out of bed the wrong side....... even a short spell in a Spanish jail is highly unpleasant I'm told - and they bung you in the slammer while they sort your case out.

 

I regard it as sensible and courteous to find out and abide by the fishing laws of anywhere where I happen to be a guest.

Hi guys, my homepage is down since i left the UK and i have not yet had time to make a new one.

I am now based in Albufeira in Portugal, and i am running a sport angling charter boat from the new marina there.

Hi dave ive been to albufeira a few times when i went to Vilamoura. im surprised your not based there considering the size of the harbour. Whats the life like out there? do you charge much for your fishing?

 

Casey i thought 42 euros was redicoulous. So i bought a telescopic rod and reel and some tackle for 23Euros wich is about £15. And it woz much easier doing it that way.

Hi Me, i am based at Albufeira because it is a brand new marina, and there are onlt two charter boats including me.

Currently i am charging €60 per day including tackle, bait, etc

That sounds reasonable to me you couldn't send me a PM with details of what you are catching etc. might have a look at the Islas Canarias as an alternative to Cuba next year.

Its quite a size but not as big as Vilamoura yet!
