hi isaac,its just that i had a spare bottle at the back of the cuboard and thought i would put it to good use. :)

I have wrestled with reality for 46 years,still wrestling.

Sorry I didn't finish the "recipie" off Kendo :(

If you mix 2 parts syrup to 1 part hot/boiling water and then mix your paste as normal matey. It helps if you can freeze it before you use it

 

Another way to use the syrup is to put it into the water you use in your expander pump, just add as much/little as you fancy. The pellets take on the flavour nicely, and if you use them over a bed of flavoured hemp it works a treat :cool: :D:D

Syrup soaked corn used for the first time on a water is devistating but soon (like every other corn method) loses its appeal.

Then you need to use coloured corn and syrup.

You can also use treacle or watered down jams.

 

On occasion I use syrup etc as a bait dip.

Bread flake dipped in syrup is awsome for tench and crucians.

Any bait can be dipped to give it extra appeal.
