I have read an article where bob nudd feed a jaffa ball of groundbait every put in using an 11m pole to hand with powergum instead of elastic.

This was after balling in 5kg of groundbait.

He must of made up about 10kg in total with pellets, casters, maggots and a few tins of corn.

He was fishing a big river which was packed with bream using 4/5gram floats and 5lb line straight through to a size 14 strong hook.

When the lock gates closed he used a waggler three foot deep as the bream all came up to the surface and still caught.

RUDD

Different floats for different folks!

We fished Heede last year ( early Oct ) and there is loads of fishing within about 15 mins max from Heede, we stayed in a log cabin, we got through Anglers World. Best take out in Holland in Chienese they are everywhere, hard to find an indian however.

Loads of canals, usual specics roach perch, ide etc.

Some monster rivers, which look a bit daunting as ocean going tankers are going up and down the rivers all the time. But get some big feeders, cast to the edge of the eddy as all the banks are cut out and you get some great bites from Bream roach etc, watch your gear and keep nets because of the wash.

Some advice take all the live bait you can carry, casters, maggots and worms, as thats a bit scarce and expensive in Holland.

bloke called richard was a great help on site suppling maps advice etc if you are going to same place, English angler visitors on site as usual unhelpfiul and closemouth, but not like Ireland loads of waters, most easily accesable good fishing

You need a national licience, and usually need to join local angling club about 20 - 30 Euros for both

Hope that helps
