Drennan super specialists for big baits, been going for years and will keep going, never had any problems with them.

 

Mustad longpoints in a variety of patterns, feeder, maggot and match carp for general work.

 

In the winter drennan carbon hooks.

 

I do have some middy match hairrig and hairrig pellet hooks for corn and pellet fishing and some kamisan animals which are used for heavy general work.

For small fish it's Drennan Carbon Match hooks-nylon.

I have sworn by Drennan super specialists for years in the smaller sizes, however of late I have problems with sizes 14 and 12 opening up a tad on big tench and have dropped a few fish due to this. Maybe the spec has changed? Anyone know of a stronger hook in these sizes?
