LURE MAKING (LATHE)

Peter was speaking of using a lathe to shape the lure bodies. The "drill" part came in when he described a lathe that uses a drill as the power source. Rather than a motor, this one has a chuck for attaching your drill to the outside of the lathe and using that to turn the lathe.

Certainly wouldn't be good for serious, heavy-duty work but for making small pieces like lure bodies and only occasional use, the low cost when compared to a normal lathe makes it a great option.
