Pellet paste

Crush the pellets and mix them two part pellets to one part semolina/cornflour. Steadily add water until you get a mix that is just a bit softer than you require for your hook bait. Leave it for 10-15 minutes and it should be spot on. If not just add semolina/cornflour/water until it's right.

Works well.

Cheers

Alternatively, cover with boiling water and leave till soft, mash and mix with trout pellet powder or the groundbait of your choice - works for me!

Im banned from any bait prep for the next 12 months after experimenting with halibut pellet paste in the kitchen. The Mrs was most unimpressed with the fishy smell... :-(

Can't you do it outside from the kitchen? or the garden or the garage? Then you don't get blame for the fishy smell :) If that don't work then you have to trained your missus to like the fishy smell :D

Growing old is inevitable but growing up is optional

SLUK... just wait until you complain about the horsey smells your wife leaves in the car after she's been riding. Don't get mad, get even

This is a signature, there are many signatures like it but this one is mine

You can also make paste by adding the pellet powder to an egg white, add a little at a time as it's easy to over do it. You can add flavouring to the egg white if you like. When you think you've got the mix right sprinkle a tiny amount of corn flour on it and knead it until all the air is out and freeze it until required.
