Better think "ROD" first. Do you want to cast a 100 "fishing meters" or 100 "actual" meters?

 

There have to be dozens of reels that will spin off 100 meters without any problem.

Firstly, What rod do you have?

What sort of reel is it made for (fixed spool or multiplier)?

What will you be casting (feeder/deadbait/lure)? Approximate weight?

Strength of line?

Monofilament or Braid?

I have Daiwa ProFeeder extra heavy, test - 5 oz, which made for fixed spool reel.

Usually I use braid.

I believe you will be wanting we call in the UK, a 'Big Pit Reel'.

 

I do not use these myself but I'm sure someone will recommend several makes and models for you soon.

I would guess that reels in the 5000 size would work well for what you want.
