Can't say I liked his work but I did admire the fact he done things on his terms and in his own style.

without ken most youths of the age wouldn't have had nigh time "entertainment" ;) after the devils and tommy sex on tv declined ,spawned several clone films like caligula etc ,great great time for films saddly its all 12 rated trash nowadays.as said not to everyones taste and even went from good to bad and back in his own work

glenda jackson was my hot totty but starred in a very strange film (amongst others),i remember her rolling about in the buff in a carriage but the name escapes me

 

we lost Susannah york not so long ago another actress not afraid of her body ,i remember a strange film called the shout another strange 1970's release

now i have aged and most certainly glenda has the attraction has been lost but she wasnt that bad compared to some

theres no doubt the the late 60's to the mid 80's had the best and certainly most entertaining films but not to all tastes and peter greenaway contributed in the 80's onwards,my favourite film of all time is this :

great music but i cannot understand why a instrument that hadnt been invented yet was used instead of a crum horn which has almost the same sound :wacko:

 

 

there is also a great historical flaw in most of these films is relatively speaking the houses would be new and the trees saplings :rolleyes: obviously its not as historically correct as its supposed to be and lax on the so called researchers who should all be sacked but aside from the structures not to bad

I was an extra in Tommy when I was a student in Portsmouth in 1974, he also managed to burn down Southsea Pier as well as make the movie.

I actually spoke to Roger Daltry a few years back and told him i had been in a movie with him; I of course never enlightened hin of the details.

 

BTW how much longer for Steve Bruce then?
