I still use potatoe, use meat punch and fish it like a pellet it can be coloured and flavoured to suit.Its the in bait at Barford in Norwich Ive been told.

I have used wax moth larvae ( Galleria melionella ) with some success. On their own they are very slightly bouyant, almost neutrally bouyant. Have used them for rudd and trout and caught both on them.

I've used mealworms in france on a lake for rainbow trout. They worked better than sweetcorn, that's for sure!
