Stinking landing net

When mines not in use, it gets the washing line treatment, then stored away. If you're trying to get rid of the fishy smell, wash it in cold water with a lemon detergant. Just make sure you rinse it thoroughly before using it again.

Prevention is better than cure.

Fishing next to your mate and getting him to net the fish for you (using HIS net), is a good idea , particularly with bream and big eels.

I just hang my nets up outside and let the weather clean em off for me, doesn't matter how bad they smell outside!
