When I first saw them I thought they would be good when using wire,Not got round to trying yet so must get hold of a couple to see.

Yeah ... been using these for quite a while now, they were raised in a topic some months back on dropshotting.....

They are for spinner baits and "help" - but aren't fulproof. Certainly they are not (specifically) for carp fishing.

 

That's not the problem most of the time when trying to prevent line twist (twisting on the bait end of the terminal rig). The most common problem causing line twist is reeling through the drag. That's the other end from the hook.
