Urgent Help Needed!

Hi all,

I have the demo of fishsim and have encountered a few problems, please help!

Finally installed a "zip" program and theoretically the program should work,

(Computer now see's file as game/program)

However as I double-click on the demo to open it, an error boxes appear saying:

 

" The FISHSIM2.EXE file is linked to missing export DDRAW.DLL:DirectDrawCreateEx. "

 

Can anyone interpret this and tell me what's going on please as i desperately want to play on the game as ive heard how good it is, Please help!? :confused:

Could be a direct x problem.

Have you installed direct x version 7 or higher on your pc?

go here to download a working version of the demo with fish in if you are having problems with your version.

already downloaded the demo from that site but i will install direct x 7 now.

 

If that does not work can you think of anything else that it may be?

Glad to hear it works now.

As for tips...play around with tackle and bait and depths as you do in real fishing.

I aqm about to buy a carp/cat lake in France for fishing hols and I need feedback on what to do to make it the perfect fishing holiday.

Should it be open top any amount of anglers or exclusive use of the lake to one pre-booked group?

both, say half it, if its big enuf, or open it up to any anglers but if you get bookings then close up till the bookers come.
