boat license

well, getting the new boat tomorrow, planning to empty the trent of pike on thursday, but i think i need a boat license before i start, am i right? are they issued by the EA or the local water board?

Wait till you get caught and plead ignorance!! British Waterways might be the boys to ask. Alternatively ask the people at the place where you intend to launch the boat.

going to be launching the boat in a field in the middle of nowhere! i think pleading ingnorance is the best bet

I wouldn't have thought that pleading ignorance would work, they will probably say that you should have made the effort to find out.

 

Wouldnt want a nice chap like you being slapped with a fine on your first trip out.
