Dan 0
Went down chesil beach today in Portland for my first time sea fishing Found my self getting snagged alot of the time and loosing weights, anyone know any where else to fish around this area? Thanks Lee Its a long beach! Abbotsbury by the antitank defences was always good, Generally the bottom is clear along chesil, I guess you were near Portland, that used to be rocky. My favourite way to fish was to travel light and move along the beach. Take one bottom rod and another for spinning/feathering, mackerel should be in by now. Dan There's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore like an idiot! Its nice here! http://www.twfcorfu.com
Jim Roper 23
Anybody who likes to cross the Fleet to fish Chesil Beach between Chickerell and Abbotsbury, should be aware that your activity may be banned due to the Marine Bill. This area is proposed as a Reference Area, where all human activity, even bird-watching, could be stopped. The people who are proposing this, say that there is very little activity in the area, so have not considered it as being of concern. I counted 174 boats on the bank or in the water there yesterday. Someone must use them. http://findingsanctuary.marinemapping.com/...11_section6.pdf If you are concerned, then write to your MP soon. http://www.d-das.com/Lower South Buckland Farm Campsite DT3 4BQhttp://www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk/campsites/uk/dorset/weymouth/southbucklandfarmPisces mortui solum cum flumine natantYou get more bites on Anglers Net http://www.fishingtails.co.uk

Whats the angling trust doing about this pointless and useless ban i ask, nothing would be an easy answer. i'll have a look to see why anglers should be banned, because it looks good on paper no doubt. The likes of the trust should be hanging thier heads in shame. Unfortunatly they have spent time making friends with the very ngo's who love this type of stuff. Looking forward to a counter argument, although i don't expect one. got a link direct to thar area Jim please, i can't open yours Edited June 28, 2012 by barry luxton Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted. New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

FrancisMus 0
Well perhaps if we ACTUALLY see people being fined for letting dogs foul then we may actually send the message out that it is not on. Has anyone evr been fines for letting their dogs foul on the beach? I do not know anyone who has.
