New member here. My name is David, and I'm retired. My wife, Nancy, and I like to go fishing in this area, we don't have a car so we rely on buses. For that reason we go to the local canal, the Lancaster, and Borwick. I've just started trying to catch Carp again, but since I started fishing at age of five, the new stuff is a bit of a mystery. I've learned to tie hair rigs and have tried at Borwick and had a couple of runs, but so far, all my Carp have fallen to a float rig with corn, corn and maggotts and meat being the successful baits. Any way, looking forward to learning and chatting with you all.
