Perhaps the increased prescence of working parties at the waterside encouraged the 'black death' to move to pastures new.

 

One of my favourite canal stretches has been plagued recently by them and consequently the piking has suffered from a lack of prey fish.

 

£21k sounds like a lot of money to be spent on one water!

Our perception of time as an orderly sequence of regular ticks and tocks has no relevance here in the alternative dimension that is fishing....... C.Yates

21k OF the cost CONTRIBUTED by the EA.

It does not say what the total cost was.

 

I wish the EA and Angilan water would do this type of project at Alton Water in Suffolk.
