why do we fish?

why do we ?

a) is it the hunting instinct? ( probably on some occasions would have starved to death )

is it to get out in the fresh air? ( much cheaper to just sit on a park bench)

c) is it the the next one could be a monster !

i have noticed all my hobbies are about the unknown i.e fishing ,we dont know what we`l catch ,metal detecting ,we dont know what we`l find and collecting fossils for the same reason.

I fish because my house is full of females

Because its expensive{tackle}

Because i don"t have a bad head the next day

Because i like the open air,peace,quit,comradeship,meeting new friends,

i suppose chesters everyone has a different answer,but i know one thing we all have in common and that is FISHING

A bloody good question. Why do we fish? I have been on the Gynn wall today on the Fylde Coast. It was cold, wet and we got soaked by huge waves coming over the wall AND cought sod all (again!!!!) This is now the 6th time I have been here recently and blanked. Tiddlywinks seems a good alternative mmmmmmmmm maybe
