You mean they come ready boxed :D

Funny enough there is a clip on u-tube where the guy did just that. now that is what you call re-cycling :showoff::)

Thanks for all the advice. Didn't get round to making it last weekend, and am now wondering, after all the comments, if it'll be too small, and whether I should just stick to the manure heap.

That's what i'm starting to think azrael, they're a bit of a walk away (the manure heap that is) but it's probably still less hassle than making, filling and maintaining a wormery.

it would be very good if some one knows a way to keep worms fresh for a few weeks. digging a few weeks supply at a time would not be to bad

The earth given out by the worms are the best manure you can have. Also re cycling i have always liked. Then your own home grown just makes me feel a bit more rewarding if i catch a fish. it really is not at all hard work to maintain
