hi all,

i have some video i need to put on to the pc and edit, this will be coming direct from the video camera to the pc via a "zydacron onwan 350" video card, now, i have got the video and sound to play via the netmeeting program, no problems, but i cant get programes like "ulead video studio 6" and "windows movie maker" to see it at all, each time i try to retrieve the video i get a message "Either no video capture driver is installed in this system or no device is connected" and yet the netmeeting software sees it fine.

i can record a movie in wmm using a usb connected camera but it defaults to audio only and i have to enable audio + vid on the record screen ,if it see`s your cam on the record page then it should work ,if not your probably using firewire or another connection and the answer lies with the card ,sorry i cant help further because mine works :P:D

Hi Gray, got no idea if this helps at all, propably not, but I had a problem with a keyboard that installed fine but wouldnt show up as being installed. I wrote to the manufactures and they said it might be something to do with my sound card, maybe I had a chip installed and not a card, thereby if I altered my bios settings to 'enable' the device rather than it being 'disabled' it might help, anyway through helpful step by step instructions I managed to alter this setting and the keyboard now works fine. It's just a thought, thou I really have no idea about these things. :D

I presume you dont mind some advice from a woman !!!!! :D thou I'm propably a million miles away from the solution.
