Fish Intelligence

What they are good at is surviving. They, same as all animals, have an in-built survival instinct. Sometimes, we find their natural behaviour shows some kind of intelligence. In fact it is nothing more than instinct.

My dog has learn't that when its raining heavily he can not get wet by ******* in the conservatory.

 

Is this intelligence? Not in my opinion because the next time I see him do it, my boot will be gently shooing him out the back door!!!!!!!.

What I was trying to say in the above post is this.

 

The dog is smart. He avaids getting wet by his actions.

 

An intelligent animal would be clever enough to see the boot coming.

So how do fish avoid getting wet, Perhaps they shelter under the kelp

The more predatory species such as bass are more likely to be more intelligent.

 

I reckon we have some the most intelligent fish around here as they've learnt not to take a baited hook......
