New Boy

Hi

New boy here ( well quite old really lol)

Just decided to start fishing and have got myself a pole and a few rigs

caught my first fish yesterday (small perch !) but it was jaws to me lol

Looking forward to learning loads and very glad to find this forum

Just an update .......

Had a brilliant day yesterday

Went to a huge Lake near me and spent 4 hours pole fishing

Caught 4 Roach and 1 decent size perch .... very pleased !

 

Came home and went out again to local river just for half hour whilst walking the dog and caught a nice brown trout using a swim feeder , this I was really pleased with as was just using a cheap Decathalon telescopic rod with the small reel they supply so it was hardly a good rod for swim feeing lol

 

Any tips on rigs for swim feeding very welcome as well as tips on what rod to look out for
