with the continuous stream of new products (some of which don't seem to have been properly tested) coming on to the shelves, I feel that they pretty soon find out what is good and what is bad.

A bit like a fish 'n' chip shop. The busier they are, the fresher the chips!

 

I expect it is down to local staff!

 

Is there a comparison to be made between small computer shops and fishing tackle shops? If they don't stock it, it's no good!
